Other players have looked at the NRL and have been quite honest while doing so, infact some have used it to get a better deal in sl.

I don't expect him to go which was my initial reaction when I was told about this a few weeks ago, but the press release doesn't mean anything until I see him in a hull shirt in 2012, anything is possible.

Danny will probably go on double money, beach front apartment and be a squad/3rd choice. They can afford to 'take a punt' and put effort into his development.

He might make it big and never returrn or not succeed and come back. Lets face it every one on here would be gone like a shot.

Yeaman won't play for another club, he certainly won't go to the NRL.

And Briscoe and Westerman have a few years to run, so we'd at least get a fee.

Players rarely do sign their first offer. Glad Danny has come out and made a statement, he won't be going anywhere for at least another season.
