Could it just be the case that the SMC have a few expenses in the form of wages / maintainance costs

With the current owners we seem to have a plan in place and are building the club on solid foundations that can last. It won't be an overnight success story but it give us a good chance. With new cash rich owners we would get an immediate boost in terms of signing players for a couple of years but when they walk away would we be left with a sustainable financial model for the club to continue with?
It's the unknown which is the problem for me which is why I would tend to sway towards the current owners staying place.

James Rule is a Director, when ever the club has anything to announce its usually via him. been the CEO, thats part of his role, being the public face of the board.
Of the other clubs you mentioned, St's (McManus - Chairman), Salford (Wilkinson - Chairman), Bradford (Hood - Chairman), Wigan ( Linagen - Chairman) etc.... Whenever these clubs need to announce anything its these individuals who do it, usually via the RL press. You can bet your life these guiys would not go running to the press simply to give their opinion on something. They would either have something factual to announce about their club. The only club owner who is proactive with the press is Ken Davy |

I'm happy with the levels of interaction with the board / CEO etc. I'd prefer our CEO to be working with the coach to recruit the right players than tell the fans about new offers in the club shop etc.
