| Manu should play in the centre for certain, but only if the distribution of the ball was better, he is completely wasted at 2nd row. But, having said that, Fitz is also past playing 13 but it's not fashionable to admit it.

He's wasted in our set up because we rarely get the ball wide for a "wide running second row" or if the dummy half moves the ball quickly enough usually on the 5th tackle it goes the wrong way and Manu , Yeaman and Briscoe are stood like lemons. Agree about Fitz his application is admirable but 80 minutes in a disguised props role is too much for him. Surely even Agar can see Fitz needs spelling and Manu is the impact player to do this with Westerman at 13? The latter needs to improve but we've no choice but to play him and hope he matches his billing eventually.

How can he be wasted in the back row, it's his natural position. If we get the ball wide early enough then he can exploit one on one defence or put Yeamo through a gap. We could try using him running off a short ball from time to time like Rovers do with their backrowers.

His natural position is centre.

I agree, its just his coaches (both club and international) and himself that disagree and think its in the 2nd row

Well, I'm happy to admit that now Agar has picked him at centre, I was talking b0ll0cks.
Seriously though. although he looked a bit like the proverbial duck out of water at times, I think it's worth continuing with the experiment. I just didn't expect Agar to try it against Leeds though, but then again...

| Didn't think Willie looked fit - knee heavily strapped and struggled getting off the field at half time.

So is that why he has played 2nd row for ages then.....he cost us 2 trys tonight as he was defending as a 2nd rower and left his centre spot right open

Im sorry , i thought playing a left sided 2nd rower at right centre against the best left sided attack in the league was nearly a master stroke
