Why can i see another case of Fc breaking the rules without realising.

He should have replied later, with a more detailed explanation.

It is very good of him to reply to my E-mail so quickly (within an hour or two) but his reply is obviously lacking any detail whatsoever, therefore I have replied with this.....

The way that most fans are translating the very confusing quota rules is as follows...

Peter Cusack Quota
Shaun Berrigan Quota
Mark O'Meley Quota
Craig Fitzgibbon Quota

Hame Lauaki Quota/non fed
Willie Manu Quota/non fed ( with the possbility of exemption from Nov 2010)

As we understand it, 2010 allows 6 overseas players, 5 of which can be Aussies/Kiwis, therefore it would appear to most fans that, unless there is an exemption given to Willie Manu or one of our quota players is allowed to leave, our quota is full and, therefore, we have no spare quota place in which to keep big Sam for 2010, whether Richard wants to or not. This would be very disappointing to many fans as he is quickly becoming, not only a very exciting forward to watch, but also a fans favourite.

Any clarification of our current situation would be greatly appreciated.

Well put, one ofthe more polite emails he will have received of late.

If he doesn't answer in detail, who's going to ring the new directors' hotline?

He might have 30 emails from fans to get through this morning. I'd rather he was actually running the "business" that is Hull FC then answering inane questions from fans. Not that I'm saying this isn't a valid question. Perhaps he thought a simple assurance that we do indeed have a quota space available for next season was response enough? Its not like the original email asked for any clarification on the rules etc.

But he doesnt count on the oz quota was my point. Confusing when they split a quota and have varying amounts of criteria i guess.

As an ex-marketing director i find his approach a little odd sometimes. It was clear that a more thorough reply was needed to avoid setting hares running but he has failed to grasp again the bigger impact of not saying something truthfl to the fans. Maybe he cant but it would be nice if he said that he cant give further details as one of our current players is leaving and doesnt want to announce it yet or something of that accord.

No I didn't ask for an indepth explanation of quota rules etc. and nor would I because, as you say, he has more important things to be doing. However, I did expect a little detail as to who is on/off quota and perhaps a brief indication as to how we may have a quota spot available.

We'll see.....

It is clear, on many occasions, that he doesn't have the experience for the role he has been given, if you see him at functions it is also clear he can't hold his drink, nor his mouth.

Could Cusack (and other players in the same position), be coming off quota when they become fed-trained? I thought this originally, but then changed my mind after reading posts on here. I can't see any other way that Hull can be under though.
