Pleased with the news which now means a pass will be bought for next season.
Bombers teams where always entertaining and that is one thing that has been lacking in recent years. I know he will be in overall charge and the new coach will have the first team as his responsibility and clearly they will both have to work well together.

Welcome back Mr. Pringle! Really happy about this appointment. He has tripped up everywhere since being with us, I get the feeling he really loves the club and is one of the good guys of RL. His contacts in Oz will do us a world of good, he will be the link between AP and the club/new head coach in actual rugby matters and I can only see this is a que for Gentle to join the club. Perfect opportunity for a current assistant coach to become a head coach, with guidance from a bloke who has bags of experience in NRL and SL.

The highlighted bit makes it clear that Bomber will be an [iactual[/i Director of Rugby - as in the member of the BoD with responsibility for the playing side of the club. This is not the usual DoR role as we normally see it in SL. |

Gentle is the assistant coach to Wests who are currently 4th in the NRL and assistant Australia coach. He has excellent pedigree. |
