We've effectively SWAPPED Ellis for Mcgoldrick he's not one of the "6" and in all fairness I do think he offers much more than Ellis, I think it's important we judge him on his performances in a Black and White shirt. We play a total different game. Gentle has clearly seen something in his style of play that he believes will adapt to us greatly.

Heard on Humbersides sports news this morning that both Sam & Ticks are expected to out for a considerable length!!!

Smailes tweeted this morning that Moa has had a bicep op and will not play for Hull again and that Tickle is out for 12 weeks.

He later tweeted that he is meeting Gentle at lunchtime and said hopefully the injuries may not be as bad as first feared.

Either way expect official confimation of bad news shortly

As for the Injuries, I think we can both fairly say they will both definitely be out for tomorrow night. Massive blow if you ask me, be nice to let McGoldrick get in there and prove a few of his critics wrong then eh!!!

The McGoldrick signing sort of makes sence for the remainder of this season, hopefully come pre-season training he will break the strict disciplinary code and will be on his way......

Worst case scenario we've got him till end of next season, hardly the end of the world, and he will be out to prove people wrong. It's a done deal so we may as well get behind him.

Well, strange as it may seem I'm more prepared to back PG's judgement than yours (although I respect your right to your opinion).

Although I'm struggling to think of a player I'd less like to see in an FC shirt if I take my black and white blinkers off we are currently a mid table Super League team who suddenly have a big injury crisis (Tickle/Moa development) which needs urgently addressing. Yes we have ambitions of becoming a force in future years but we have to deal with the present situation.
I really do think our hand has been forced on McGoldrick in the past week or so.

nobody really knows all the ins and outs but the management team, we have to trust there judgement,fwiw i think mcgoldrick could do a job for us,time will tell,i hope he does but theres a few on here who would love it if he didnt,
