Longstaff is a great player, I'd have him at Hudds in a heartbeat, big future. I don't personally rate Simm, he's still a kid but I've just seen too many errors from him this season. He'll probably bag a hattrick against saints next week

Smith will get a ban too.

Simm might not be able to play either (which isn't a big loss IMO)

A very solid effort from the boys, it’s a tough one to take as I really thought Huddersfield were there for the taking. We have to be realistic, that was still a very understrength side which pushed one of the standout teams of the season right to the end.

Having said that I wish he would give Simm a go at centre to see what he can offer there as that is suppose to be his better position but it seems that isn’t going to happen.

Losing Kane Evans and Jack Brown killed us. Convinced we'd have won that game with both of them on the pitch. Nothing more gutting than conceding tries from dummy half, hate seeing that.

Think a few fans on social media need a reality check, in the SL era we have been a mid table team, I had us down to finish 6th this year but we may end up 7th-9th, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter, I can't see any teams in this weak league getting to the Grand Final from 6th.

As long as we are competing in games like we did last night, and continuing to replace the deadwood with younger, faster players then we are heading in the right direction.

One of our current issues, is the fact that our backs aren't very good at making metres, very rarely do out backs make over 100 metres in a gane, really miss Carlos and Swift for their work and metres, eve. Griffin was good for helping out the forwards.

Simm seems to consistently make over 100 yards. He made more than double Macintosh last night from only an extra 2 carries.
Shame he still has a few errors in his game. There is definitely a player in there it's just whether we can be patient enough to see if he hits his potential.

I watched most of the Summer Bash games, and the one game that was stop and start was the one reffed by a super league referee.

I did every time she gave me her wisdom. Funnily enough she went to games too just like me but unlike you. In fact in her latter years, I pushed her to the games in her wheelchair. We really did make the effort, no listening to the radio for her.
