The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Quote: Raggytash "Most SL clubs don't need to find a prop from the lower leagues, when they do have the need - they do sign them. Loads of examples throughout Super League. Not saying we should sign all of these, but off the top of my head, here's some examples of forwards that looked superior to Dowes the last 2 seasons...
Jack Howieson - Sheffield Eagles
Stuart Dickens - Featherstone Rovers. Proven class year after year, a veteran now though.
Adam Higson - Leigh Centurions. 2nd Rower but bags of potential and could push Lauaki to prop.
Chris Young - Barrow Looks a very useful prop and brought up in Aus iirc.
I'm sure there's loads more I've not seen/can't remember. I remember seeing a good kid at Dewsbury but I can't remember his name. Just because we made an error with Maloney, doesn't mean we should give up!'"
As I have said before but you have choosen to ignore it Dickins was the best prop in the league last year, got voted in the top 3 players in the natioanl league and made the Dream Team however, a few years ago he signed for Salford in SL, only played 9 games in a team that finished bottom, went back to Fev the next season, tried but wasn't good enough.
Also why we would pay and sign a backrower when we have 3 young backrowers coming through?

Leeds - Luke Ambler, Kyle Amor, Ian Kirke
Us - Rich Whiting
Huddersfield - Lee Gilmour, Danny Brough, Danny Kirmond, Shaun Lunt, Greg McNally, Andy Raleigh
Saints - Ade Gardner, Jon Wilkin
Wire - Richard Myler
Kr - Fox
It's a real shame our scouting system don't have any 'funny quirks'!!!'"
Well done you have named 15 players from the last 10 years (most of which signed for SL clubs when they 17/18 and took time to get into the first team) 3 of which haven't even made it as SL players yet.
They are one or two players in that league who could play SL to that level, but not many and if they are good enough they are will get signed by SL clubs.
Hull looked at Hardraker and made him an offer so the club does scout the lower leagues, in fact the club signed Brough, Whiting, Maloney from these leagues.

| It's the same old , just because we haven't signed the players doesn't mean we haven't tried.
No doubt Fielden and LMS were about to sign but read the miserable s on here and thought ' that'.

What happened? Leeds quicker than us again?
Just like we went after the young 7 in Cumbria but dragged out heels and Leeds pipped us again.
Something there isnt there? does Kath let it all out when on the job and Gary jumps in?

Most??? Actually, only 4 of the 15 signed when they was 18. Hardly an overwhelming majority! You clearly are against the idea of giving NL players a chance, but don't make up statistics to back up an opinion!

Not a case of ignoring. If a junior gets released from a SL club because they're deemed not good enough, and then go on to make it as a NL player, they become a NL player. The majority of players in the NL's have been released by SL clubs.

Possibly because the discussion I'm having involves me saying we should sign a NL player rather than take the easy option, and him arguing against signing an NL player. It was a fairly easy conclusion to jump to!

If you forget the fact i'm a Hull supporter and i had the chance between signing for Hull and Leeds i would choose Leeds everytime.

| but you all forget that when the mighty FC come asking all players instantly reach for the pen to sign dont they ??
because three players wen elsewhere or resigned for their current clubs does not constitute a conspiricy or rejection of FC but merely a number of details that made them do their own thing..
wether some like it or not the SL world do actually see FC as a massive club its a pity certain fans dont

Not at all, by first choice would be to give our young a chance but we have none quiet ready, but I hear Chris Green is a made a big impact last year and he has a chance of playing SL in a few games this year, maybe why Dowes only signed a one year deal.
Again you have only named 12 players in the last 10 years to make the step up.
Also noticed you haven't responded to my Dickins comment, a player you think could be a SL player. S
I would love us to sign National league players, but clearly they aren't good enough, for 12 who have made good SL player they are loads that make the step up that aren't good enough.

Not 100%, not many can be but Rotherham Fev fan stated that Hull, Wigan, warrington and us made him an offer.
Sadley out of the 4 we would be last team most players would sign for.
Also who is the Cumbrian 7 we missed out on? You aren't taking about the one who signed for Huddersfield are you
