I love Whiting. The definition of stalwart.

I recall Richard Agar's trauma after Whiting's horrific leg injury at London, I think, about 5 years ago, saying he'd never forget the sight of Whiting in the ambulance after he'd just come back from another injury. Overcame that adversity and a superb ambassador for the club.

As a special treat, can he please have a squad number lower than 14?

I think 14 is the perfect the number, he is the ultimate utility man. They should rename utility player to the Richard Whiting player.

Didn't the club make some shirts of Fitzgibbon in a superman outfit? If they could do that then I think they'll be able to make some similar ones for Whiting.

This happened at the derby when Whiting intercepted and Shaul scored

It was evidenced in the final. Whiting slipped the ball out and Shaul was there. However someone switched the carpet spray with liquid teflon

Shaul is like S Briscoe was - a supporting FB. Whiting is about the only player worth supporting most of the time.

Think Shaul would score a lot off Horney too - he has made a lot of half breaks, pushed his nose through, with nobody backing up (typically because Shannon McD has been lining up for the next play)
