we wore white with black v when we played Wigan in 1959 - you must all have seen the iconic picture of Whitely leading the team out in it!
The shirt doesn't matter - its the attitude of those wearing it - both on the pitch and in the stands. |

I understand the commercial side of shirt sales in this day and age but I kind of agree with meatpaste. I wish we had the iconic irregular hoops on in the final.
Saying that if we do manage to win though I daresay I wouldn't care if we played in mankinis.

Black and white v Cherry and white is good enough for me. Not really surprised they haven't gone for a special shirt for the day like they did in 2005, they have after all brought out a magic shirt, a Catalan shirt and military shirt this season. We aren't made of money!! |

I text Lee Jenks as soon as we won on Sunday to ask about this, he said he expected the RFL would want us in our Principle Kit - so their decision, not ours

Its the only kit we could use AFAIK.
The Wigan home shirt and Magic shirt are deemed to cash due the amount of white both have. So its a simple decision really both clubs wear the primary home shirt.
