Just how much further backwards does your board want to let this poor excuse of a rugby league coach take your team? It's clear to absolutely anyone he's not got even a rudimentary grasp of how to get his players performing, he's alienating good players, and young players don't seem to get a look in. Put all those together and there really is no wonder you are where you are.

Having said all that, i see some of you are keen, nay desperate, to see Brian Noble installed as the new coach. Let me just say that towards the end of his time at Bradford, he also had trouble getting players to perform, alienated the club's best player (Pryce) and as for youngsters, well, there's not enough time in the day!

The thing with the current board is it's a bit difficult to understand their motivation for staying involved in the club. A couple of years ago you could understand it as the value of the club was higher and they could see some sort of return if they sold at the "right price". But the "stock" of the club's valuation must now be diminishing, and surely this is not in their interests? Don't know any of them and therefore don't understand their motivation. If, as has been suggested, there have been approaches turned down, perhaps these people should try again as reducing attendances and sponsorship might bring the asking price down?
