| Need to watch ot again, but thought Sezer and Rapana had decent ganes, particularly the 2nd half, not perfect, but wouldn't say either were poor.

Our attack is poor without asiata and pryce. I can't see us winning many until asiata comes back
Hopefully get them both back for beginning of August and we can pick up a couple of wins in the mean time. I'm hoping asiata is sooner than that. We could be well adrift of the rpp 6 by then Asiata was around the warm up and taking part in bits of it. So he can't be too far away.

| A win's a win as the old saying goes. We did what was needed and it's another two points in the bag.
It just felt so slow and lethargic at times, a continuation from the Cas game. Then in the second half we started getting over excited and had a habit of pushing difficult passes looking for the miracle play instead of building a little pressure. The whole afternoon felt very bitty and disjointed to me, the win was great, obviously, but not the most entertaining of afternoons for me.
I get the feeling this side prefer being the underdog, think they like having a target to aim at. They've seemed a bit unsure of how to approach games when victory is largely expected of them, bit strange considering how much experience there is in the side.
Quick word on Salford. Thought their players stuck at it for the full eighty minutes and played with energy and enthusiasm, continually giving our players little room to move in. Also, hats off to the Salford fans for turning up and sticking it out to the end. It really can't be easy knowing every week your side will almost certainly be on the losing end. No wonder they all celebrated when they scored, it's about all they can seriously aspire to at the moment. Their in an even worse predicament than we were twelve months ago.
So, not the most exciting of afternoons, but it's another two points to the total and on we go to next week and Wire.

Despite everything, they're still better than we were last season

| Very average first half performance, a replay of the previous match against Castleford. Very little go forward, too much lateral movement from the forwards.
However Cartwright must have torn into the team at halftime, after the break, the forwards ran hard and direct.
For mine, the continual playing of centres in the second row, is beginning to take its toll, hardly surprising with the likes of 3 out of the 4, 2nd rowers, chosen at the start of the season, managing 3.5 games between them all season. ( Cartwright 3.5, Staveley 0, Holmes 0)
I thought Fash at 13 brought more cohesion in attack.Eseh again outstanding, Hardaker 'Mr Perpetual Motion ', Ese Ese, Knight were less effective, . Bourouh & Aydin work hard without the ball, but with the ball, aren't very effective. Sezer & Cust played brilliantly.
I thought our wingers were good, however I thought Rapana had another below average game, his defence is poor, his pace is declining, and he's committing too many basic errors, for an experienced international marquee player, in my opinion, questions should be asked, if he should be released in the close season, the same applies to Jed Cartwright, IF he cannot return, before the end of this season.

| I did think after the first 20 minutes we were going to get dragged in to another one of those games, credit to the players for sticking to it and turning up the intensity in the 2nd half especially.
Thought we did okay, after the troubles we've had in recent years it does feel odd watching us post 38 points in a SL game and coming away still somewhat concerned.
We still look rather disjointed in attack, it's inevitable given Asiata's influence, but it still is something which we need to work on. I actually thought Fash gave us a bit more in attack when he came on at 13, was also good to see Charles get some time on the field, he's looking much bigger and has clearly been working hard on his defence.
I can't help but feel sorry for the Salford supporters, as mentioned we've had tough times recently but their problems are on another level, I do hope for their sake that at least something can be resolved to save the club and start them on a clean slate.

| I don't think aydin is working at 13. He seems to get in the way more than anything. We looked better with fash but hard to say whether that was just at the point we were dominating possession and field position

| Rapana definitely mixed bag .Thought Aydin had a really good first spell but definitely not a 13..... If Eseh is happy here can't we sign him up December if he doesn't extend his contract at Wigan ?......All in all 2 points no injuries back in the top 6..... Would we have taken this at season start ... Dam right we would

Great work to get him in touch and then such a lacklustre end to the half off the back of it.Dog performance again and miles away from what we know they're capable of. Passing looks all over the shop, especially from dummy half.
Burough is bang average. Passing isn't great and is slow plus offers little threat in attack I've slowly gone off him as the season has progressed. Cust at 9 looked good though in last 20
