Laidlaw has impressed me so far this year, very solid in defence and doesn't shy away from carries. Hasn't let us down by any means.
Watts would offer more with ball in hand, which after the Cas game is something we need.
One of the shining lights against Cas put a great one on one hit on Amone near our own line. Worth a year or a cheap contract

I've heard we are sorting hilltop out for training facilities.
I've heard the same. Agree on Laidlaw too. Definitely worth another year. Think he will get one too.

| Squad out - no surprises. Moy comes back in though instead of Hutchison. However, Logan has been named in Donny's squad (down as Logan Taylor-Moy???) and Gardiner is named for Doncaster too

Ticks a lot of boxes, they go in Total Fitness anyway and while we aren't short of cash you can get some income from junior club use and renting out the function room. Room for a small stand for reserves games too.

| Wonder which side we would take, I believe the pitches on the right hand side with the club house has a cricket club based there too? Not sure how much of a say they'd have on things.

| Unless we can buy it I can't see us spending much on the site plus it's already shared with the cricket club and cott tigers isn't it?
Not ideal if we have to split time between there and the uni. Ideally we could do with city finding a suitable site for a proper training ground and us buying their current place

| With water shortages becoming the norm now in the summer whatever the club do they should excavate an underground water storeage that takes excess rain water from nearby building roofs and rain drains to top up the storeage. This way the sprinkler system can operate via a pump system when needed. An ozone system can be used to keep the undeground water free from water parasites like cryptosporidium

Anyone know the odds for Salford to beat us?
Crazy odds We are 1/66 which means you've got to put £66 on to win a £1 (for the uninitiated). Salford are 14/1 to win, and have a 28.5 start on the handicap.

We still seem to have attitude problems with the players thinking some games are easy. Compare the level of efforts away at Wigan and Wire and on Good Friday to what we served up last week and at Magic. For a long time we've needed to find a 3rd gear, get the 2 points ptype of performance without too much stress or wearing ourselves out.
