Talk about grinding out a win, it made our 2016 victory look like a stroll in the park!!
Congratulations to our red & white brethren, been a long time between drinks.
Thought their defence won it for them when Wire had that spell of pressure, but couldn't finish them off.
Warrington almost looked like they didn't care if they scored or not. Needed to take more chances to actually kill the game off. Instead they were happy to play out their set, take a minute off the clock and then either win a drop out or just pin them down. For 78 minutes it worked really well, just a high tackle on the last tackle has probably cost them the cup. Tough one for them to take no doubt. even tougher for you

You actually think I care more than a genuine Warrington fan? I don't give a .Comments like yours are always so weird. Would I have preferred Wire to win? Yeah. Has my life changed in any way because of that result? Absolutely not? Is my weekend ruined? Absolutely not.

100% this. I'm disapppointed Rovers won but it has zero affect on my life other than I can't tease the two or three Rovers supporters I work with. They are decent lads anyway and it's all in jest. I'll be way more ed off if we lose on Friday than I was today.

| I thought Sneyd was going for the drop, it was on and he looked shaped for it. If he did that wins the game. Kills another minute and it's all over.

Because we're still in this Super League race.

| It's going to be difficult to bring in a back rower of any quality. Most teams have injuries and there isn't enough quality in the first place

Give him that trophy right now I'd say his performance today is way ahead of either of his previous LT wins with us
Deserved winner of the Lance Todd for the 3rd time - on the losing side which rarely happens. The epic winner of the Lance Todd on the losing side was Tommy Harris back in 1960. We were hammered by Wakefield Trinity by a margin of 30 points and he had to leave the field injured well before the end of the match. This margin of defeat remained a record in CC history until Leeds beat London by 36 points in 2000. Well done to Rovers on a spirited 80 min performance in a game that most people said that Warrington was the better team. However as ABBA would sing ........ "The Winner Takes It All".

Treble winners elect march on. First of three chalked off.
No Chance! They won't win LLS and think Wigan will be hell bent on retaining their title.

I wondered about Bailey, probably wanted to play at Wembley, but.might be keen to come to SL early now.

| Sneyd showing why he’s still one of the best organising and kicking halves in SL. Warrington were the better side through Sneyd for 75mins. Unfortunately one lapse of concentration cost them and Rovers took the spoils through their defence and taking the opportunity in the final 5 mins.
