WIZEB:
Half got my head around the prospect of them winning, but as we know, less fancied teams than Wires have managed to do the business.
COME ON WANKY, make our day.
I'm clutching at straws a bit here, but the last time Wire lifted the cup, in 2019, they did so by taking down a Saints side that looked to be on course for a treble. St Helens are obviously more versed in winning on the big occasion, but even they failed to turn up six years ago and were convincingly beaten in the end. That was probably the last time we had even a minor cup upset, so maybe we're due another one this afternoon

So, who knows, maybe a spot of history repeating itself!
If rovers don't win later today, they will have no-one to blame but themselves, no excuses. Everything looks stacked in their favour. If they fail, it will be because they can't handle the big moment when it arrives, everything is on their shoulders, no excuses from their side!!
