| Went last night, so after a few beers, decided to watch it again before I posted.
Thought we were excellent for the first 60 minutes, controlled the game and they didn't look like scoring, not surprisingly, with 2 injured men, we tried and they took advantage, think some people on his thread were being a bit harsh, although it as in game, they have some big threats (Ipapa, Nui, Hodgson, Lam, Hanley and Mulhern) who we kept quiet for most of the game, they only starting breaking tackles the last 20 when we were tired and they chanced there arm a bit.
Thought the backrowers were excellent, think both played 80, Pryce and Sezer with the big moments and Knight (who I criticized against Hudds) was outstanding.
Hopefully Asiata is only a short term one, as he is so key to us and we will have to changed out whole attack, Jed and Rapana hopefully back, then a week off.

Doesn’t get much credit but I thought Chamberlain was good last night ran some great lines and doing a solid job
His effort was up there with the best. Love the way he doesn’t lay around in the tackle but sprints back into the defensive line. very underrated signing, good squad player to have and won't let you down. Without him signing this year we would have been in touble. Once again well done Myler.

It was hard to tell but I think ashworth went to 2nd row and hardaker to 6 when cust went off although he and asiata probably moved between 6 and 13

| Really did not expect that result - performance in the 1st half was very good - after the 1st 10 mins I thought we looked on the back foot a bit but that patch up to half time was so enjoyable.
Think Ese Ese is looking a bit jaded ATM, and Asiata could be a massive miss. But Sezer, my goodness what a top signing he's been, alongside Hardaker whose graft and reading of the game has been great. A world away from last season.

| never understood the chmaberlain criticism. hes not a flash player, but very solid indeed.
as much as we rav about asiata, i still think hes under rated (sounds strange i know) BUT i dont think its a coincidence that Lam doesn't look half the player he was when asiata was at Leigh, also look how good sezer and cust have been with him in our side. whatever we are paying asiata, we are getting a bargain!
Knight, for me is a 'keep at any cost' if tha quota rules doesnt come into play, I'd be looking at moving rapana on, sign Knight with his spot and keeping Briscoe for another year as cover (unless we sign another outside back) its harsh on rapana, but i think Knight would be better player to keep going forward.
another note, i think it maybe an idea to give young martin a rest next week. hes been immense for us, but with that rule this season about playing 'x' amount of mins in a season plus, hes made a few errors recently, i think the kid could do with a rest now. hopefully rapana is back for next week, so play him or briscoe out there.
any updates on cust and asiata (both looked very uncomfortable)

Agree re Herman and the week off shortly will come at the right time. Think the experience that the likes of Sezer, Hardaker bring to the team can not be understated but the way both of them have integrated into the club/team in unbelievable and it is paying off so far in the way they are performing.

| With Herman and Knight they are both being overplayed due to us not having any fit second rowers and us seemingly having an endless amount of in game injuries which causes weekly reshuffles and always seems to result in bigger minutes for these guys.
Hopefully once we get some luck with injuries and some bodies back they'll go back to proper spells.

| Fingers crossed Cust will be OK for the Catalans game. He got a similar knock at Wakefield but played at Cas six days later.
Asiata a massive loss though of course. We'll just have to hope for the best there.

| I'm not sure Herman has dropped off but teams are now going all out defending against him. Pretty much 3 players on him as soon as he got the ball most times he carried last night. It's good that it opens up opportunities elsewhere if we're smart enough to exploit it

| Sounds like Cust will be ok, according to JC
asiata said he heard a "pop" and needs a scan to see the serverity of it. id go with balmforth at 13 if asiata is out (likely)

I like the idea of Balmforth at 13, but he couldn't do 80 there, also means Amir doing 80 again. I suppose it depends how long Asista is out for a couple of weeks could use a middle forward, longer maybe needs more thinking.
