| McNamara furious after the game at his side not getting a penalty all game...he has a point, but at the same time Catalans weren't brilliant.
Biggest difference for me was that rovers played as a team, whereas Catalan didn't seem to. Catalans forwards looked knackered and they badly need a decent hooker.

Catalans screaming out for a hooker, Fages could be the answer right under their noses

| Love them or hate them you have to give them credit for their play. They are a well oiled machine They are always mobile fast line speed fast play the ball to a player who is on the move not stood still great defence and attack with high fitness levels What is evident is it highlights what we are missing in the centre and second row. I know we have a second row coming in next season but we really need at least one Hiku type centre, move Pryce to six and find a full back with speed as we saw today how good Broadbent looked playing in a quality team

Think the only chance is Warrington win tomorrow, should have Williams back for the final.
But can't see anything but a Rovers win, people mock the signing of JWH, but he is a winner, will be driving standards on and off the pitch.
Agree with you totally particularly re Hargreaves. Ask any player who has ever played in teams with him. Have attended 2 previous CC finals involving Rovers- 1964 v Widnes and 1980 v Hull. Won't be there this time but really hope they win( my dear old mothers team!)

Can we have Ryan Papenhuyzen please ?Just witnessed his record 36 point haul for the Storm. Don't think I've even seen support play like it. Absolutely off the scale that lad, especially after coming off two potentially career threatening injuries. Class.

Come on Freddie, I thought Wire were your second team?Anyways, hopefully you'll predict a Rovers win at Wembley which will mean they'll probably get beat.

| At least it gives the Dobbins fans posing as Hull fans an opportunity to come on here and wax lyrical about their team, all the while appearing to be magnanimous.

You really think that bonaire (11 years) or Mrs B (20-odd years) could be bothered to pretend to be a Hull fan, day in day out, year after year?

Think there is a difference between acknowledging that they are a quality, well coached outfit (even if it is through gritted teeth!!), who seem determined to end their trophy drought, as opposed to fawning over their every victory which a couple of posters on here are becoming guilty of. However good they are, it's still the enemy we are talking about here. If they are victorious at Wembley next month (and it's still an IF they triumph) it will be deserved, but it won't make it any easier to swallow for any true black & white on here. I still wonder if there is to be a twist in this tale next month. It just seems so straightforward the way everyone seems to be assuming it's a done deal. It wouldn't be the first time the wrong coloured ribbons have been put on the cup before the game has even kicked off! Never underestimate the ability of sport to produce the unexpected, it's why we all tune it, it would be boring if we knew in advance every one of life's twists and turns. Here's hoping this is one of those occasions.

Treble winners elect march on in style. What a year for them. Hopefully we can emulate some of their success as we rebuild.
They look the part, there's no doubt about that, and apart from Wigan it's difficult to make a case for anyone else realistically beating them at the moment, but ' many a slip between cup and lip' as the old saying goes!! They look formidable, I'm not disputing that fact, but until Minchella actually lifts a silver pot above his head it still remains all 'could be, might be' for the next four weeks. I'm still praying that our old number-seven makes it three Lance Todd trophies in less than ten years. Further to that I'm hoping to rediscover the power of prayer, although it's been a good deal longer than forty years since I last attended Sunday school!!! Very true, we can all remember Featherstone and Sheffield so there's still hope that Wire or Leigh can triumph.
