Just looked at the red card properly, shoulder to the head so no complaints from me. Senior got a couple of games for something similar when we played Cas so I'd expect something similar.
Even viewing it in the ground on the big screen, it didn't look good. Cust isn't a dirty player by any stretch of the imagination, but he got the challenge horribly wrong, turning his shoulder at the wrong moment. Guess he will now be missing for 2/3 weeks, another body down, another selection headache for JC to ponder on. Cust didn?t make a mistake turning his shoulder at the wrong time, it was deliberate, the only thing being he wasn?t trying to hit Morgues head , and if he?s actually tried to use his arms to tackle he might have got away with a yellow

Saints yellow same sort of head contact
Don't think it was the same, he wrapped his arms, cust didn't, think it was the right call under the current t rules.

I thought it was worse, mbye led with his shoulder Just said same on the ?tv games? thread. Mbye looked a more intentional shoulder charge which made direct contact and I?d say a lot less mitigation yet only a yellow and we see a red.

I thought it was worse, mbye led with his shoulder The only reason I think it was a yellow was that the Wigan player was going down slightly so I assume that is the mitigation.

Yeah, it's puzzling me a little too! I would have thought the best option would be for Sezer to take the right-side kicks (as a left-foot kicker) with Pryce taking the opposite side (as a right-foot kicker). Sezer's place kicking, prior to Pryce arrival, was certainly above average, so not sure why he hasn't continued, unless it's for personal reasons, but can't think why that should be.
