| Amazing how after a few Dobbins wins, their supporters (and FC apologists) remember their password for this forum…..

I reconciled myself last season to Rovers winning a trophy, and fully expect them to win the lot this year. Well done to them, been a long time - their team reminds me of Saints 2006 era. I think they'll win something, but that last sentence is mental Saints lost 4 games that season IIRC. Seems reasonable comparison to me. Memory is spot on. They also beat KR 50-0 in the CC semi- final.

| In fairness they look formidable at the moment and we will have a mountain to climb in the CC. But its a cup game and a derby and stranger things have happened where we are concerned.
We get three days extra rest and we appear to be incredibly fit and resilient and being the big underdogs we have nothing to lose.

| The same posters said the same last year.
Although they won't have a better chance this year, they are the 2nd best team and Wigan are out of the cup and have had a poor start to the league.
I know people won't agree but Lewis IMO is the best player in the league.

Certainly him or French. Take lewis out of that team and they're slightly above average

| Rovers are a very well organised and drilled team. I wouldn’t say they are formidable. They are good at taking a lead and then building pressure. It will be interesting to see what Rovers are like if a team takes a 8-10 point lead against them or if they had a series of injuries (not that I would wish that on any team).
I do think this is a weaker SL this season, so don’t know who will put pressure on them. I expect Wigan will come good and Warrington will improve now they have Sneyd. Saints and Cats are fading and Leeds are blowing hot and cold. So Rovers in the box seat at the moment, but many teams have faded after March in previous seasons.

| All things come to and end like ours "You'll never win at Wembley" and the 1985 is close to ending but like Steve says KRs best chance is this season, I honestly think it will the CC or nothing, but they've got to beat us first which won't be easy(famous last words lol), Sneyd a massive bonus for Warrington and Wigan are potentially the two teams to stop them winning the Shield or GF.
