Seems to of been quite a sudden change in tune from the club, we was (correctly) adamant over the pre-season that we were way off going to Vegas, there has been a serious uplift in confidence across the club in a pretty short period.
FWIW, I think us throwing our hat into the ring at last minute could lead to a sudden change of heart from the RFL's commercial board, a Hull derby in Vegas is surely something they can't miss out on?
We can't even stage a sell-out one in Hull

| There was loads of Hull fans in Vegas for the first NRL games last year , Vegas not my cup of tea but if Hull got picked , I'd have to go again . Me and the misses idea of away games differs by 4000 miles !!

| I'm not convinced that a Hull derby would be much of a draw to travel for neutral fans.

| At $25 dollars a can , You probably wouldn't see many from the east side throwing them .

I agree it's of interest to people in this city only. SKY would want viewers from Lancashire and West Yorkshire tuning in. Also the thought of being stuck on a 10 hour flight with some of their fanbase is a horror. Selfishly I'd like to see us there but not sure it's the best idea right now while we are still improving as a team. You lose a week of training while there then a few other days lost for photo ops and press conferences in the build up.

couldn't we take the magic weekend there instead of just oicking and choosing who goes?
They need a serious think what they are doing with Magic, saw the other day they've only just sold 20k for the weekend so well below how many the ground holds. To be fair to IMG one of the few suggestions they have made was to scrap it but the RFL ignored them. Either it needs promoting properly or it's pointless having games played out in front of less fans than even the poorly supported teams would get at home.

| While I'm still not sure how much this Vegas thing is benefiting the sport, its good that we only recently had this years event and the organisers are trying to sort next years very soon. Stark contrast to the international fixtures, have they officially announced the venues for the Ashes this year?
Does one team have to relinquish a home fixture for this or could they have Vegas and miss Magic Weekend so neither lose a home fixture?

| Imagine the diplomatic fall out with the White House, if Rovers only got 3,700 tickets for Vegas!

Those RFL where due to release all the info regarding the Ashes tests over the Vegas weekend but are still sorting the finer details apparently . They did say the other day all info will be released in the coming days . There just checking Wembley to see if there's enough seats for the Rovers fans to attend .
