I think we will, his bird is from Hull and has a local business so will be keen to stay I imagine. 

As far as recruitment goes we're going to be linked to every man and his dog over the next few months, there seems to be something in the Bell and Batchelor rumours which is a big upgrade on what we have. 


Hopefully we can add a Toby King or Connor Wrench to add some strike to our centres. What I'd give for a player like Niu at Leigh.

Ashworth just didn't look comfortable in front of the camera.  He spoke highly of the club and his team mates.  I didn't get the impression he wasn't happy here.  It would be good to get him and herman tied to longer contracts sooner rather than later

Think Ashworth is definitely worth a new 2 year deal.

Think if we interested then there is a chance, don't think he will get a new NRL contract, so expect him to be back in SL next year. 

Maybe his Dad can put a good word in.


I'm still hoping Big John can persuade Lam to do his last couple of years in SL.

Hope so, he’s too good to not be playing. 

Can’t see Lachlan leaving his dad to another SL, Beaumont will break the bank to keep him. 

Agree on Lam, although Leigh couldn't match our offer and think he would have come if it wasn't for complications over his getvout clause, it depends if we offer the same and Leigh are prepared to match it.

Just read in the Warrington board Burgess and Harrison have had a fall out.

Hope we are keeping an eye on Jumah Sambou who use to play for Saints but is now ripping up the championship for Oldam.
