| Well done Hull. Fantastic all round team performance. Knew it would be close at the end but we deserved the victory for sheer effort and determination. Walker, Aydin and King were outstanding., but all played their part. Maybe a few more surprises to come before end of season!

My mistake I thought it was only 1 year. There were strong rumours a while back that he was on his way and being dropped for a 18yr seemed to suggest that. If he continues to play like he did today both him and Moy will give us enough cover at full back and maybe use the intended FB quota signing for another position.
Really pleased the way he played long may it continue.

| Phew, what a scorcher, and I don't mean the weather!!
Never saw it coming, not in a million years! Bit nerve-wracking in the last five minutes, but then it is Hull Fc after all! Fantastic for an hour, before we became increasingly ragged through the last twenty, but showed guts and determination to close out a deserved win.
Walker and Herman played big minutes, but a special shout-out for Aydin. That run early in the second half was worth turning up for all on its own, let alone the rest of his contribution.
Everyone played their part, with most having their best eighty minutes of the year by some margin.
Every dog has its day, and even though Wigan were a touch off their usual high standards, today was unquestionably our day to celebrate, at long last.
This has restored my faith in the power of sport to continually surprise. Never take anything for granted, life simply does not work like that.

| great win today, apart from looking a lot sharper in attack,i think a big reason why we did so well especially in the first half was the very few penalties conceded.i dont think we conceded any pens in the first half.makes it a lot harder to make much progress without the odd pen.even for a team like wigan.

| Phew just got in. Well played FC. The play was on from that scrum near the end but when Wigan came across Martin should have just come inside. But he's young and that last catch made up for it. Forwards where awesome today.litten still gets pushed of to easily but again still young and great try.Really humid out there and we flagged last 10 min but that's understandable.. We never do it easy. Not a big crowd but the noisest I've heard for ages. Grix deserves a big rap in all this to. Well done lads COYH

We had to miss today, Effin Covid. Outstanding nearly fell off the recliner settee a few times. Coughing brought on by shouting Everything was crossed for the last 8 minutes.
Master class on how to beat Wigan provided they drop everything thrown at them. Onwards and upwards, Cas looking over their shoulder in the race for 10th, get in.

| I don't think I can remember a Wigan side make as many errors as they did today.

been saying i dont see full back as a problem position for us with Walker,Moy, litten and Hardaker as back ups
Would be far better to concentrate our efforts on a quality centre, halfback and and another front row.
We are still weak in the second row and Sao is much better in the front row so if we keep him there then a second row becomes a better option.
Think its time also to say goodbye to Tuimavave

| Briscoe again showed why Myler signed him. Solid in all aspects . Ed Chamberlain could be a very astute signing. Then we have the King. Yes only his first appearance but did really well. Big unit. We looked like team all in it together. With the signings coming in next year and maybe more we have to be positive that we can climb the ladder.

Very much agree, imo fullback isn't a priority with the options of Walker, Moy and Litten, if we can sign Lam we'd have a quota spot for the centres and the back row, moving Sao back into the front row is a must and if we can get him off the quota that would be helpful. Ideally I'd love to keep Chan and play him on the edges but reckon Wigan will want him back.
Carlos is done imo unfortunately he can't string a month together, his body is telling him it's had enough.

Agree with everything apart from keeping Chan. I don't think we'll need him. If we use a quota place to bring in a second row we'll have the quota player, Cartwright, Holmes and Staveley. Chamberlain can do a job there as well. Staveley was developing nicely before his injury and I expect him to kick on even more next season.
