I was also told that the club and Carlos were in talks about possibly ending his stay. Again, don't know how true it is, just what I heard.

I'd heard something similar about Carlos, but can't see anything in it.

TS did say He's spoken to players still under contract that they are free to explore other avenues away from the club .

Only way I could see it, is him maybe going to London for his last year. We sign another centre, probably someone young like Pratt and sign another backrower from overseas.

I suppose as of now he still the club captain so probably right that he is there for a shirt launch, London probably hadn't planned any super League recruitment like fev had, so might take them a while to decide who they want / who is available

He must have been struggling in training and maybe the club and he himself realise that the injury means we won’t get the same player again , which I’d say is a real shame as he was a classy centre and deceptively strong as well, always gives his all , but unless we have another centre lined up , we don’t really have much in the way of back up , unless that young lad - cannot remember his name / is ready to step up . Id seriously doubt that we’d blood him yet, centre is a position that is always exposed , I remember Yeamo’s baptism of fire , agains Saints I think , which didn’t go well . Can’t really think of any UK replacements we’d be able to sign , other than Reece Lynne and I think I’d prefer Carlos at 80^% . It would free up a quota spot and there are some exciting young talents in the NSW cup over there , maybe they now use SL as a feeder which would be okay by me , on 2 year deals that’d be even better .

If that’s the one I read he’s basically staying at Wakey and good for him , he’s been a good servant to them and should shine at that level.

I dont think Pearson would be as worried as he obviously is about repaying the Government loan if he had a major investor coming on board
