Is there anything more Hull fc. Pretty robust player, signs for us and gets injured. Hopefully Dwyer makes it through and Sutcliffe only has a niggle.

With regards media and HDM, I don't like the appointment of fans for the position, offers far too much bias, you can see that it in current HDM reporters. I know that Clarke was a Hull fan, but not to the level of Tomlinson.

I agree. The HDM sports section has become like a fanzine. Not that the general standard of journalism for them is particularly high anyway.

Realistically what are you expecting in the off-season. There’s literally no news

Traditional journalism as we oldheads remember has almost gone… or evolved into something new, if we want to mitigate the sense of loss. Like rock music.

Yeh I get your point completely but I'm told the issue is the lack of interviews information etc coming out of the club to the media. The reporters are in turn under pressure from their superiors to generate FC. centric stories of any type every day to keep the ball rolling and sell the paper or get hits on their web site (lets face it who doesn't check the mail each day to see what's happening, or not as the case might be) but I guess with a longer than usual closed season, players on holiday, little representation from FC players in the up and coming World Cup and the need for the club to maximise the impact of their season ticket push, timing as far as they are concerned is of the essence. However the Stanley Gene one after he resigned from Rovers weeks ago is an interesting one.

Notwithstanding the fan / cheerleader sentiment in the HDM the quality of writing by the Rovers chap in particular is terrible. The article today on Luckley has incomplete sentences, spelling/grammatical errors and commas thrown around like confetti.
