Jeez that was the ugliest of ugliest wins, we did our best to to lose that with some terrible ball retention but will take that at the end of the day.

if you consider the amount of penalties we gave away,the amount of repeat sets,and the number of times we dropped the ball as whining then you are nit picking when there are several other posters on here saying exactly the same thing.
Do you agree with the coach and his bench decisions for the last two games which include a hardly used replacement 9 and wing/centre which doesnt improve any part of our game ?

Dont get me wrong i love it when we win but its so frustrating that our discipline is getting worse as it puts so much unnecessary pressure
on our defence and with such a skinny squad it will start to take its toll on some of the players.

Defensive effort to savour wasn't it? Good to hear the praise of the pundits too for our resilience. Just 2 losses so far to Wigan (top and unbeaten in the league and obviously knocked out of the cup by ourselves) and Catalans (joint 2nd). CC semi finalists and elite academy status secured. Can't really complain thus far.

Just don't expect the same rudderless ship drifting aimlessly next week .........whoever you are playing.

It seems that the mods won’t let me tell you exactly how wrong I think you are.

I tend to watch the game as a Hull FC SUPPORTER. I don’t listen to bias Sky commentators saying how excellent the opposition are and disregard FC’s, once again, outstanding defence. For those who didn’t realise, it was ing down for most of that game and handling errors for both teams were crucial. Add into the mix some critical errors by officials and I think FC won? Oh and by the way Hull kept the South Stand quiet for long periods of that game, which speaks volumes to me. That’s just my opinion on a forum. Some of the posters on here, need to get over themselves or better still try coaching

For me great teams all start with top class defence heart, togetherness and passion. The fancy stuff on attack follows and we saw enough from our three tries this evening to indicate that on harder dryer grounds we will get a few tries as well. But after two or three years when all we wanted to see was the spirit and wanting back and for us to look like team that wants to play together. Just enjoy the win for heavens sake and the passion and pride we showed. We just witnessed one of the best defensive Fc displays we have seen for many a year. Yeh there is our discipline and ball retention to sort but it was battling win and we should be proud. The 'script' is now probably a gallant defeat on Friday but the Semi Final could then be a completely different matter!
