| So pleased for Salford. Great team performance. They have been the most consistent form team in the play offs. So good to see a new team in the grand final at last. Best of luck on Saturday, I think it could be a cracker.

| Well deserved by Salford, the result never seemed in doubt after kick off. Welcome financial reward for the Red Devil’s as well, a GF appearance is a fabulous achievement.

| Going to be the first time I haven't supported Saints in a final (unless we are playing them), would be great for Salford and the game as a whole for them to win. Salford fan for a night next Saturday.

| Would be brilliant for Salford to break the stranglehold - they'll be capturing a big share of the neutral support.
Great news about Toronto being promoted. Will provide a different challenge and pressure for every team, great for wider publicity (vs Fev getting up for example) and ratchet up jeopardy for smaller/underperforming clubs.

| How much scope do toronto have to improve the squad? My understanding was they are spending up to the cap anyway and their team is rubbish by SL standards so not sure how they can increase the quality enough

| We all witnesed one of the great moments in Super League play off history with at the end an interview with Wigan's next coach Ian Watson. All SL clubs have raided Salfords playing staff now Wigan will take the inevitable step.

| Cheers for the best wishes on here guys, it's been an utterly bonkers season and whilst I was confident we weren't going to be the whipping boys most people predicted I had a lot of faith that Watto could keep us out of the bottom 4 or 5.
I actually looked at Hull's squad pre-season and tipped them to make OT and I've been really shocked at how up and down they've been as you've got some cracking players. In Josh Jones you've got one hell of a player and he'll always get a great reception back at the AJ Bell as Josh Griffin does.
Can we beat Saints? We almost pulled it off at the TWS earlier this season and I think the players truly believe it could happen. Whatever happens we'll enjoy the day as it may be another 30 years for me before I see it happen again.
Look forward to seeing you guys again next season but just make sure you give us a bigger stand for our 5000 travelling support.....

| In my opinion Ian Watson did enough to be named coach of the year. Saints topped the league by a lot of points, but they had a lot of expensive star names in their side, and this is no criticism of Saints because i wish we had done the same. The Salford side had one star player who had left Australia under a cloud, but what a job he did.Ian Watson had to suffer other teams signing his players whilst he had to sign lesser known players, but what a success he's made of it without spending too much money. What if they beat Saints, would he be thought of as the top coach.Just my thoughts.

What an absolutely wonderful story - it must be what dreams are made of - well done to everyone at your club.
It was a great picture at the end of the game against Wigan to see that young Salford lad in tears of happiness. All together a great story for rugby league, only enhanced by Jackson Hastings winning (deservedly) the Man of Steel. As a game we should be getting loads of media coverage with this story and Toronto coming in, hope the powers that be can take advantage of the publicity.
