No, not quite as blunt as that. But back to basics, I can imagine, complete our sets get to our kick, no unforced errors. When players are under pressure not to make a mistake. In my opinion, would go for saftey first approach , seriously reducing the number of off loads etc, players then stop doing other things, like supporting the man with the ball, knowing he as little chance of recieving an offload . Confidence dwindels , and it starts rubbing off on everyone. Yes the cas and wigan defeats was dissapointing, but instead of scraping those game plans and going back to basics, id of liked to have seen us try improving on those dissapointing close defeats instead of going for the saftey first approach. Of course all just my take on things, but looks pretty obvious to me thats whats happened
