Can't believe the two head high tackles went unpunished. The second one he could have opened his hand as soon as it bounced off the ball instead he held onto his neck. Maybe it's not that easy. They should at least look as though they are trying to avoid it. Should have been minimum yellow cards. Does that mean they are not classed as a dangerous tackle any more? Notice how close the Aussies go to giving penalties away and get away with it.

It just goes to prove the refereeing is abysmal in SL . I'd feel cheated if I were a Widnes fan .

That's what made me laugh when Blake Solly was on SSN saying its Super Leagues best against the NRL's three best teams. No Blake if it was the NRL's best the Roosters and Manly would be competing instead of Brisbane and St George.

The NRL's best is a step above Super Leagues, people won't like that but it is.

Don't get any of this world club challenge tbh - imo it just sets SL up for a fall and makes it look just a poor league. How can you have NRL teams with twice the salary cap playing in a series against teams where the player quality is that much lower and think your going to get anything other than a whitewash. It'll be even worse next year when four SL teams go over the Oz.

Four teams are going to Australia? When was that announced?

It hasn't......... but lots of ideas being put forward for expanding the competition with NZ Warriors and Catalans trying to become involved to have a more international club series. Think things are pretty fluid concerning next years venue.

I hope it remains in the UK.
