I think the coach & the 17 man squad are all to blame hard to pin it on just 1 or 2 of them.

| Quote BEN_THE_BLACK&WHITE="BEN_THE_BLACK&WHITE"Anybody ever thought that millers poor form could be radfords doing, leaving him out in the cold at the start of the season won't have done his confidence any good and we don't know what sort of encouragement/criticism radford gives him in private, radford may not be handling him very well.
Let's face no one covered themselves in glory last night so to blame miller is a bit out of order I don't see the point in dropping him for someone who isn't going to do any better, the season is finished for us lets just leave miller and rankin to create some sort of partnership then we may get some sort of form out of them.'"
Lets face it, most of us put in front of an aggressive angry radford would them selves, so I can't imagine how a 20 year old kid from the other side of the world must feel, knowing the coach doesn't think much about him. I'm not saying millers the answer or the greatest player, just think he's out best option, and an arm around the shoulder and a bit of support from everyone would help

| Who do we have at the club capable of developing a half back? I doubt our former back row/prop coach is capable of it

Exactly , people are raving about htw, and reece dean, but what will become of them under the current regime, would the fans coach, and Pearson, give these 2 time to develop. Proberly not

| Miller wasn't great yesterday but he wasn't the worst player on the pitch and wasn't solely or even mainly responsible for what happened in the last 30 minutes.
At 16-0 we were cruising to a comfortable but not impressive win. We were making easy metres and Wakey were struggling to get out of their half. We weren't playing that well but we were playing better than them.
Then Crookes had a brain fart and lashed out in the tackle. Two yellow cards and what could have been a penalty to us became a penalty to them. They were immediately energised and started running riot, particularly down our left. Our defence was in a panic, we were missing tackles and they were offloading at will. Despite plenty of experienced players out there (Ellis, Houghton, Paea, Feka, Yeaman) there was no leadership at all. Paea in particular seemed to completely lose his head for a couple of minutes. As soon as they got it back to 16-10 I knew we would lose. It was Salford in the cup all over again.
Miller will no doubt be dropped for Friday, but he should not be the only one.

I hear Dave Butler will be making his debut, as we're so short on numbers given Radford's "don't perform and you're dropped" mantra

| Houghtons distribution is always slow, we never get a quick PTB from him. Surprised no other coach has tried to address this. Wakey were slow closing us down and a fast pair of hands would have killed them.
