Holdsworth is putting his hand up to play now, but the club aren't letting him. The medical advice the club have been given is for Holdsworth to rest, if the club play him against medical advice and he suffers a more damaging head injury (brain damage) the club would be in a lot of trouble.

Surely his continual appearance next to the coaching staff at games (including away games) says something about his commitment.

Don't see ALL injured players doing this.

Would seem some people are. What happened with Wade was completely different circumstances. He'd uprooted half way around the world and couldn't settle. Holdsworth's been over here for years. If he was going to have gotten homesick I think it would have happened by now. Nothing in this at all IMO.

Ha! If the club did that with all our rumours they'd never get any rest!
