The whole stobart deal was a bad mistake from day 1. Sl is the 2nd most watched sport on sky behind premier league football, if we can't market that to gain a large sponsoship deal somethings very wrong.

Does the 1.2m get split between all the clubs anyways?? Surely the SL keep some back for themselves if thats the case?

Maybe the Stobart sponsorship was a stopgap whilst a companies Sponsorship elsewhere ended this year - freeing them to sponsor Super League next season??

Sadly I doubt that's true but if it is I would expect something to be announced soon.
