Life is a game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That's a team, gentlemen. TONY D'AMATO: |

| Sorry meant 12 not 10.
But 10 could work....
And I would add London to KR & Wakey on that list.
Could toss a coin the between Widnes & Salford.
I want to see Bradford get back. They have a lot to offer the game.
What about a State of Origin series? Yorkshire v Lanacashire but players picked on the county they were born not on which club they play for? Example John Wilkin would play for Yorkshire.
Forget the French!!
I think done well that could be a great spectacle? And a break from the SL matches.
Of course the 3 match series would have to have 1 game at the KC? Probably the other 2 at DW Stadium & Galpharm. Could see 20000 crowds for them games if marketed right?
Won't respond to PhilB - no fact behind his reason and nothing added to the debate - is there a term for that?

| FWIW I think if the heartlands of RL are suffering then look after your own and not anymore do we continue to look outwards, its time they looked inwards at the backbone of British RL grass roots clubs .......
Spend time and money investing in community development at the West hulls, Heworths, Thatto heath, crossfields, st pats and such clubs in the UK and start all over again, help clubs like Batley, York and so on with investment but no more Londons or crusaders for now till austerity is a thing of the past and finances look brighter , support the flat cappers who go to doncaster and whitehaven etc week in week out and bring their teams forward instead of taking the SL backwards by spreading the jam too thin

if the rest of SL fans from each club decided to travel to them in the same numbers their massive army of travelling support and the cash cow do to the rest of SL , they would be bankrupt in 6 months as they survive on one thing
travelling supporters!!!'"
They survive because their owner pours money into them. You're kidding yourself if you think enough travelling fans pitch up to fund their club.
Quote: voodooroo "The RFL continue to allow name changes, ground changes , underwhelming performance and have i believe supported them in the past
bank rolling IMO to even grant them a license, would SL be a worse place without them or even notice they had gone.....'"
The RFL have never given them money. The RFL has no authority to stop a club changing it's name or ground. The decision to re-admit them after they went bust was made by the club chairmen. And SKY would notice they had gone.

The only money spent on London is the money they are due from the SKY package, so whether they are in SL or not is irrelevant to how much gets invested in the grass roots.
BTW - do you know how much that is? Or have you just assumed that it's not much?
