Is that right? So encouraging people to actually attend matches is poor business sense? I'd guess that is why all clubs have ticket promotions or give aways on a regular basis?
Much better idea to put a few stickers on the sides of lorries and have them driving around either being spotted by people who already attend matches or completely ignored by those who have no interest in the game.
With business sense like that I'd guess you are either richard branson or alan sugar?
