Been thinking that i want to delete my account at some point but after trawling through for an hour i cant find any info on how to delete it at all???

The site holds virtually zero information on members, and you can go into your profile and delete everything except your email address AFAIK. Accounts aren't deleted because it isn't necessary and because you'd be surprised at the number of folk who leave 'forever' and then come back.

Why not have a break during the off season then come back next season and give it another bash?
