Quote: UllFC "Anderson took Paramatta to the Grand Final from 8th the year before though, so he wasn't a complete flop.
I also think Noble would have the 'hunger' to be a success as FC. Despite his impressive coaching record, many still dismiss his record (Bradford are dismissed as being flat track bullies, Wigan have done better under McGuire etc) and I think he'd want to win his reputation back.'"

UllFC "Quote: UllFC "Really can't see Morgan or John Kear coming in. I'd put money on Kear ending up at Castleford. Paul Cullen is also available but doubt it. Brian Noble would probably be the obvious choice due to pedigree, Pearson could afford him and would send out a signal that Pearson wants to invest, only concern with Noble is whether he has enough hunger for the role.
Anderson is interesting, his contract was terminated by parramatta after a very poor 2010 campaign but has proven himself in the super league. Would Pearson want to make his mark by signing a coach who is perceived as a failure in Australia though? The more I think about it, Noble seems to fit, during half time today he inclinated at a return to coaching and Hull has to be one of the most attractive options.'"
He took Parra to a Grand Final in 2009. - not a failure.'"
Don't get me wrong, I rate both Noble and Anderson, who wouldn't, but just trying to put myself in Pearson's shoes. "A failure" is harsh but The Eels finished 15th out of 16 in 2010 and will Pearson want to make his first big signing be open to the obvious criticism of last years performance when Noble is potentially available. I'm just speculating but between the two Noble edges in my opinion.
