The league table does look reasonable re points for and against. It will look better if we are two places higher though and I hope we can climb the table before the playoffs. Come On You Hull

Funnily enough, I bet most fans would reckon our defence doesn't "look" like the fourth best.

Those stats surprised me as I think we leak a lot of soft tries, but I guess other clubs do the same......

I reckon a major factor is that unlike many other teams our performances at the JJB and HJ were both very competitive.

However unlike last season we have lost the knack of scraping wins by the odd point and this accounts for the apparent discrepancy between our points difference - better than Cas Cats and Leeds - and our league position.

Our defence overall is very good its just our goal line defence is pretty average.
