Maybe it depends if you are the glass half full or half empty type. icon_wink.gif

Quote: Nobeerineasthull "We did turn pressure into points - we scored 6 tries and 36 points, which is enough to win 19 out of 20 games.

I agree we could have scored more points though.

TBH I was more bothered about the number of times we dropped the ball and the fact that Rovers' first try came from an unforced error and their second one on the back of a penalty we gave away.'"

2 tries in the last few minutes made the scoreline what it probably should have been anyway. At the start of the 2nd half we were pretty much in their half for 25 minutes before we scored. Had briscoe been penalised for moving off the mark instead of netherton being penalised for interference at the PTB then it may well have been a draw and we'd all have bee bemoaning the lack of turning pressure into points

But Netherton did interfere, it wasn't a draw and we did turn pressure into points. Happy Days!

Didnt totally click yesterday but looks very promising if we can build on it. We totally dominated them and on another day we could have won by 40 clear points. The difference in class was very evident.

Looking at the performance, we mainly won due to individual brilliance. Had we been better as a team, we'd have absolutely destroyed Rovers yesterday. They were really poor. We had so much possession on their line. Better teams would have been far more clinical.

Warrington next week won't be so poor. We can't expect individual plays to break down their defence, and we can't keep letting our defence get exposed on the wings like we have been doing.

2nd half Hull steam rollered us, we just couldnt get any field position, mainly because of Longs kicking game. well done
