all this "Agar out". The players before they join HULL FC have already been taught how to pass a ball, how to catch a ball, how to kick a ball, so you can't blame Rich for that. The players must put their hand up and take responsibility. Too many of them are making the wrong decision to pass, offload or not to pass in wrong areas of the pitch. Lastnight players like Obst when he was on, looked like he wanted to score against his old team every opportunity he got. Horny looked as though he wanted to celebrate his 300th appearance with a try, when if he would have passed we could have maybe scored out in the centre or wing. Bottom line for me is we have to start playing as a team and not INDIVIDUALS. Yer I think Rich made selection mistakes last night, For me , with the way team played against Wigan we should never had changed the team ( except for injuries and suspensions) Longy should have been on the bench for me and on last nights performance I would drop Phelps put Whiting back there and that will teach phelps that his place is not guaranteed. But one thing we do need is some set plays and players running the angles and we need to stop running direct at the defence and at least give the defence something to think about. Last night was the worst of the worst for mistakes for me. A lot to improve. Oh and today we learnt O'mely in pot for 3 weeks and 1 to 2 weeks re-hab. Not good news.

I said in another thread Our error rate has increased year on year with Agar in charge.

Players make mistakes because they are in a state of panic. They have no idea what they should be doing or what their role is so consequently more mistakes happen. A well drilled side that knows exactly what it should be doing makes less errors.

Exactly; I said this last night (in between many expletives) We look anxious in almost everything we do, for me this is a clear sign of players not being comfortable with their game/gameplan. Even simple plays are hurried and regularly cocked up. At times we look like a poorly coached under 9's

the number of times "holy f'k, he made a break" faces were seen last night was a huge concern.

but that's just one concern amongst many.
