He was and never will be forgiven as far as I am concerned - I remember a Castleford supporter having a go a few years ago saying we were the worst supporters in the world because of our treatment of him - I told him a few home truths.
I well remember he was so petulant that he returned his Club owned car filled with water and just dumped it down Carrington Street. Ruined. The Hull Club at the time had done nothing to deserve what he did. I was not a lover of the Chairman at the time but he did not deserve the disrespect from Schofield and Leeds.
