I honestly don't think the club can be held responsible for not harnessing their 'potential' as none of these players have gone on and done [ianything[/i of note after leaving.
I also don't think there's a problem with keeping said players a little while longer to see if they make the grade. 'IF' they're not taking someone else's place at the club, in hindsight none of these players have hindered the progress of other players; they've had mostly bit part involvement.
The main problem for me is that there’s no one else pushing them out of the squad/team earlier.
