correct decision from agar, hall is very unpredictable in defence and taking a back off when they was all having their best game for a long time would have been suicide, iv been an agar nocker, and i said in other posts if we won 3 out of 4 against cats cas saints and salford then il give credit, as i wanted him to turn it round, well i have to say well done agar for what ever was said at half time, very clever interchanges at vital times and and well done to all the players for responding and playing the brand of rugby our great club wants to see, passion, enthusiasm, never say die attitude, skill and mean defence especially in the second half, and danny houghton gets huge praise as every time graham drove the ball in he did his best to target houghton and he stood his ground and never let him win the floor, he is turning into a top quality hooker in d and attack, hope that type of performance is hear to stay.

i woulden't have put Hall on as i simply don't have confidence in his abilities in such a tense and loud atmosphere, he'd have been highly likely to knock-on, fall over and generally mess up.

contract talks seem to revolve around houghton,fitz,and tickle(looks to be failing on getting him to sign tho').it seems to have gone quiet with hall.

They should be the top 3 priorities. As has been said already, though, I'd hope the club has a straight answer from Tickle and if it's no, that we're moving on. Sounds like we've made him a decent offer, if he wants to go, good luck to him - been a very good player for us.

i would hope that he has been given some sort of 'deadline' to either accept or decline a new deal,so we can put the feelers out for a new 2nd rower,unless the club think we are suitably covered as it is?

I agree. He played well against Salford in attack and defence so, hopefully, it will continue.

It's funny, but I'm sure someone said with complete certainty that there was an announcement due this week confirming his departure to Rovers...

I wonder if Hull see it as a money saving option for a winger/centre cover next year to replace Calders. If he COULD sort his defence out, and its easier as a winger, he is a very good attacking option.

I always had a nagging doubt that releasing him could come back to haunt us, I didnt have any of those doubts on the players we released last season.
