YES! luckily i was at the game but 30minutes into the recording on friday it was 'interrrupted' we lost the rest of the game...gutted!!

This isnt the first time its happened and probably not the last... my girlfriends being so fed up she has rang sky and had the box replaced twice in about a year.

Seems like the HD package or an hard drive link up is the only way to ensure a full recording!

I can see it being a long time before they scrap the 10 a month extra for the HD package plus installation and charging you for the box itself...is it worth it?

I have constant recording failures on my HD box and recently seem to be getting a lot of 'no signal received'

well for the full sky package with sports and movies is about 48-oo a month then 10pound a month for hd so depending on if u have the full sky package about 58-00 a month i think or there abouts

The way around paying for installation is to complain about the charge and argue the fact that as we live in Hull we cant take advantage of any of skys offers,ie broadband. Worked for me,and has done every time ive complained about sky and im getting nowhere!

The odd thing about Sky is we have had no problems at all since having Sky+ installed, When we did it we had Multi-room put upstairs with the old box. For some reason after calling to talk about Sky HD we lost our Multiroom. 2 days without Sky upstairs but its now back. Curious that we loose one bit but not the main bit. Gremlins or What!!!!
