I'm on the unlimited option 3 package.Not sure how far from the exchange I am I think its about 3 miles away in North Cave. In terms of home hub I have the white vertical unit (not at home so can't look for the manufacturer) not the latest black gloss one. I think its down to peak times as I went on this morning and got 5.3mb download but between 4 and 8 all I can get is the paltry 1.3 to 1.5. BT say they don't prioritise usage like karoo (hence the benefit of a gamer profile). Still waiting on the accelerator plate to arrive and try that.
A colleague of mine reported a long series of calls to Karoo when he first got his broadband installed but only recieved dial up like connections. Eventually the help desk suggested he try removing his sky box from the phone line which resolved all issues. Just a hint for anyone on Karoo.
