as for briscoe hes a top bloke and hes had a great year for them,but im afraid hes a rovers player correct, that is why I never bothered voting, I respect the fact Rich returned from a serious injury, but for me personally he has not done enough on the pitch, hope he has a good season next year though and I would gladly vote for him then.
'Sports personality' is such a stupid term for awards like these. Like the BBC awards which are judged on sporting endeavor only and should be named to match. 'Personality' doesn't come into it otherwise Chris Hoy would have won nowt! If you want to give awards for work in the community then give one for that sperately. Making it clear to voters what criteria they are voting on other than it being a popularity contest should be high on the agenda.
