Quote: Wellsy13 "You been watching the same teams as me this season?

Wigan - White shorts and socks. Red and white hoops.
Catalans - White shirts, shorts and socks.
Warrington - White shirts with a V, white shorts and socks.
Wakefield - White shirts with blue and red trim, white shorts and socks.

Our away shirt would definitely clash with them 4 as well as the 3 you mentioned. That's over half of the 13 away games.

6 away games (Huddersfield, Celtic, Castleford, Leeds, Salford and Quins) we won't clash. Maybe we could wear it at home a few times?!'"

A few of them could easily change there home colours.

They could, you are right. But the poster was talking about last year's colours.

I'll go through all of them...

Bradford - Usually have majority white shirt, white shorts and socks, but have had black shorts in the past. If that happened, they'd probably have to play in their alternative strip and us in away.
Castleford - Usually play in amber and black so we'd have our away shirt on against them, but sometimes have a white strip, meaning we'd have to wear our home kit.
Catalans - Always had majority white home kit.
Celtic - Always had majority black home kit.
Harlequins - Last year had majority black with the quarters on front. Year before that they had quarters with black trim and white shorts. Could wear anything against them and it wouldn't clash.
Huddersfield - Always had claret and gold home kit.
Hull KR - Usually majority white home kit. Unless they go majority red, we'll be in our home kit.
Leeds - Usually blue and amber, but occasionally white home kit.
Salford - Always had a majority red home kit, but sometimes have white shorts.
St Helens - Always had majority white home kit.
Wakefield - Always had majority white home kit.
Warrington - Home kit seems to vary year on year from white to blue. Could be anything really!
Wigan - Red and white hoops usually with white shorts. If they have red shorts then maybe, otherwise makes sense to use black.

I think the biggest worry is MORE teams going to white rather than the other way around.

Having just moved to NZ and watching the NRL on Sky, it's been good to see teams only wearing their alternative kit when there is a clash. I wish that had been the case in Super League. When Leeds play at Hull I want to see a team in B&W play a team in Blue & Primrose, not some aberation thought up bey the Rhinos martketing department.

Similarly, Hull should wear B&W (preferably hoops, but I like the 2010 kit) when playing away. If a team 'plays for the shirt' then it's no surpeise that FC were so abysmal away from home last season. Sorry, but I can't explain the home form for the last two years on these ground!

Another thing i like from the NRL is that the players don't have squad numbers. They earn the right to wear the shirt each week.

yes - thats why i put wire and wakey as borderlines. as they have white shirts but with perhaps just enough colour difference to allow us to wear the away one.

i'll give you the cats - my mistake, but i'm sure they have worn their other kit at home from time to time

wigan - lots of red on the shirt - remember the challenge cup final 1985 when they wore red and white hoops and we wore black and white hoops - might still get away with this

i was going for the best possible option in going through the side's kits - and anyway this is all irrelevant as we need to see all the side's new kits until we can see the picture for 2010
