Rip Bobby.

Always remember the world cup when we lost to Germany in the semis and i was in Styles(old sgt peppers) which to this day remains one of my greatest football memories.

I think everyone of a certain era will remember where they were for that and recall the bitter sweet memmory. Seeing the tributes from some of the north easts finest footballing sons who've played under Robson brings home how long he coached at the top level and highlights his acheivments. RIP Sir Bobby Robson

Funny that. I'm a City fan who started supporting St Helens that year.

Bobby Robson was a true gent and unfortunately one of a diminishing breed in any sport or any walk of life for that matter.

You sad person. It was very gratifying to see the genuine tributes to a football man on a rugby league board. Then someone through ignorance or design has to spoil it by their childish attitude. A pity you can't learn from someone like Standee.
