It may be bollox. He may have been an integral part of the the system as 2 IC but I'm sure he did not have the authority to exit players in his position at that time. We will see his metal come the end of this campaign.

Quote: Chard "Kosh, I accept your debate here but the long term strategy must be that Agar is allowed the freedom and decision making to build his own squad for the future. Imagine yourself taking over a squad and building a winning culture that you were happy with, it takes time.'"

I agree changing culture takes time, some 12-18 moths (on my experiences), i would have thought longer with an organisation like Hull...however we have seen no progress whatsoever, in fact we have gone backwards (in my view).

There are no signs (from a playing style, tactical and skills viewpoint) that we are likely to improve under Agar's stewardship. Additionally, as has already been said, it's not like Agar is new to the club either.....he new full well what he was getting when he took over, he should of (by now) made some significant progress.

Two try's against one of the worst defences in the league and another try less half of RL isn't good enough!

When Rovers gained promotion Justin, at great risk, gave most of the players a season in S/L with a smattering of new signings, he then showed what a good coach he is in that the future of Hull Kingston Rovers is more important than loyalty to players, he said thank you and had a massive clearout of players not good enough for S/L. I believe that this is what Hull FC need, someone who thinks more of the future of your club than that of upsetting a few of his pals. Watching Hull going into freefall, believe it or not, is not something i want to see , icon_eek.gif competition across the city is good for both clubs. You pay good money and show loyalty to your club, it's about time Hull FC reciprocated.

By and large, morgan gets player to play at nearer their potential than agar does. If agar were coaching salford and mcrae Hull, we'd have hammered them last night. Not that I'd want mcrae back as I feel he is far from a great coach

Quote: Kosh "Don't give me that bollox. Agar was an integral part of the coaching setup that employed these players and has worked with them for years. At the start of the season he was giving it large about how we were going to surprise folk.

A glove puppet would get more out of this squad than Agar is managing to do.'"

Spot on.

Quote: Chard "what is your solution to the mess that Agar inherited?'"

agar helped choose the squad we have when sharp was here.the problem he has is that he doesn't want to be proved wrong by dropping or being critical about any of his 'senior' players.we need to have a clear out at the end of the season, whether it is 10 or upto 15 players(ooc and contracted).people like tommy lee have had their knockers over the last couple of years,(me included)but he is one of only a few who are putting in a big effort week in week out.thacks has been our best prop over the last few weeks, yet he is dropped to the bench to accomadate radford!!!i would like thacks to be given another year but i do believe the drinking culture that seems to follow him may be his downfall.the same may be attached to kingy, and tickle,so it will be interesting to see whether they could be made available for transfer come the end of the season.
