| Right - hypothetical question : We all know if we had a creative world class half-back, we would improve. Chances of one leaving their current club (or being allowed to) to join us is low. We THEREFORE could only tempt a club to release (like Fielden leaving Bradford, because Bradford saw cash). So, we my have to TRADE IN a quality player from a position we have options, to get a half-back from a side who need the other position more.
We have too many hookers, but Swain is leaving and although Godwin and Motu are good hookers, they will not be enough of a carrot.
For me, we have potentially 3 good full backs. Briscoe, Motu and Horne (He's never a half-back, but good 'backing up' full back.)
So : QUESTION : Who would you trade as a FULL-BACK to a club who needs one badly, and could give us a proven Half-back in return.
MY VIEW : Offer Briscoe to Bradford for Deacon. I'd hate to loose him, but HOW MUCH do we need a half back, and move Horne to Full Back. OR - Let Horne Go to tempt a Half-Back.............................. Let me know your views

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Not quite in the class of his multiple posts claiming that Yeaman is:
a)the dogs nads when Rovers are heavily linked with him
b) utterly useless as soon as he re-signs for FC.
But amusing nonetheless.
True true. An atypical member of the red and white species
