I'm sure he will do well and develop his game... And in the modern era this is the best way for him and the club.

However as a old fogey... I used to get great pleasure in watching kids develop through the reserves into the first team. I can't get excited about one of our young players pulling on another team's colours.

Maybe we are freeing up space.
But I hope he develops and comes back to take a first team spot

that he has gone on an immediate - full season loan, you may have something... one can only speculate! wonder if we are looking at someone like Jack Walker for a season?

Given Hunslet are part time, how does that work? will he still train with us during the day and then again as a part time trainer? Or is he just a Hunslet (part time) player for the whole season? does he come under our welfare and health care? If he is injured ... where does he do his rehab?
