Doyle was the next one I’d hope we sign on and delighted that he has.

Total pro, injuries permitting will be a cornerstone of the team for years to come - delighted.

Great news. I was a little bit worried that we might not have been keeping him when the club released their list of who was signed, undetermined etc for next season. But obviously, the coaching team have seen exactly what most of us fans have, a really exciting player who's just constantly improved as the season has gone on and become an integral part of what makes us tick.

Let's not forget Doyle was not a DP signing, (I presume MA spotted him) but he as worked very hard and impressed, so full credit to him, I think he will make a top SL hooker.

He was DP fourth signing. You're correct in as far as MA had tried to bring him over during the 2023 season but Keighley wanted a fee, then it fell through . But they ended up getting relegated, so when DP came in we just signed him then.

Initially he was identified for 2024 by the previous regime/ Mash and had been a long term target for the clubs previous regime.

Good job for them identifying him and good job for the current set up for helping him improve to a point where he looks like he could become a good SL 9.

We was after Doyle whilst Poaching was here, for some reason it seemed to be Carter that was really keen to bring him in. We approached and was rejected by Keighley twice.
